The story

The Dazur is an opportunity to experience stunning views in a unique and truly special home, overlooking the Côte d'Azur . People feel at home when they stay at The Dazur, surrounded by contemporary art and fabulous furniture. We take pride in the fact that if you rent our home, you rent it as our home-full of character, life and beautiful art. Forget blank canvas walls and hidden away furniture. We want to share our beautiful home and stunning view with you.

We have owned the house for 17 years, and completely renovated , extended and gutted the whole house when we bought it. You could not even see the stunning view when we bought the house because trees were blocking it. Darryll grew up from a very young age visiting the South Of France , his Father had a boat moored close by.

The house  is available throughout the year to rent. Darryll and Bettina speak French very well and Bettina speaks a total of 5 languages, so if English is not your first language, feel free to talk to Bettina in either French, Spanish, German, English or Dutch.

Our house is situated on the coast just 6 miles west of Cannes with fabulous views over the bay of Cannes towards the Alpes Maritimes, behind our house, there is a different  view of  the west side of Miramar, the l'Esterel and the famous red rock.

The house is within easy driving distance of many places of cultural interest, a massive supermarket Geant is only a 15 minute drive but a car is a must. Our house is located on the edge of the l'Esterel National Park. You can go on beautiful walks and enjoy outstanding views available from the house doorstep at all times of the year. The mimosa season is particularly a very special time to experience the l'Esterel.
